Found in a barn bordering the Sassafras River on Maryland's Eastern Shore and used as a stick-up field decoy. Only one of three known to exist. Early Canada geese by any Upper Chesapeake Bay maker is a rarity. SOLD

Hooded merganser by a member of the Jester family of Chincoteague, Virginia, ca. 1940. Wonderfully little "hairy head" with a mixture of original and gunning repaint. Fully rigged. It's amazing that this survived considering the delicate thin neck. A terrific piece of folk art from one of Virginia's famed decoy making families. SOLD
