Charlie Kovacs was born on April 25, 1948 in the historical mill town of Roebling, New Jersey. Examine his decoys and the passion he puts in his carvings is evident. An identical passion drives him to hunt. Kovacs primarily carves decoys for his personal use, but over the years has reluctantly sold a few to help finance some gunning trips. His gunning decoys, slightly larger than average, are finely carved and beautifully painted.
